The Triad and The Map: A Play & community Conversation

Every performance of The Triad and The Map is presented at a site of significance within the watershed. Join us at Avery Point for new maps, fresh field recordings, and community voices. Eastern Pequot tribal member and Alliance for the Mystic River Watershed Cultural Advisor Derrick Strong joins Jessica Cerullo in leading intergenerational audiences through an immersive mapping experience.

DEEP PLAY: Somatics, Yoga, and the Freedom to move

In this lighthearted practice, we will make a cozy spot to rest deeply with the support of breath and the satisfaction cycle: yield, push, reach, grasp, and pull. Then we will rise to meet one another and explore the benefits of muscular bonding through improvised movement and the practice of picking up influence and putting it down.
